We’re an exciting new coffee shop, wine bar, and small plates concept opening on the iconic Penny Lane in Liverpool. Our focus is on fresh, seasonal produce, simple but beautifully executed dishes, and creating a relaxed, welcoming space for our guests from morning coffee through to evening wine and plates.

The Role

 We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter / Junior Chef to join our opening team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their kitchen career who is passionate about food and eager to learn and grow within a fresh food environment.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team with prep, service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation, while gaining hands-on experience in a produce-led kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation and mise en place
• Supporting chefs during service
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Following all food hygiene and safety standards
• Learning and developing new skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for food and hospitality
• A strong desire to learn and progress in a kitchen role
• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
• Reliable and punctual

Previous kitchen experience is essential – although attitude, passion and enthusiasm are what matter most.
